I am a firm believer in the power of free markets to create better outcomes for society. That is why it was a great honor for me to be interviewed by the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) for their Political Economy podcast. AEI is a think tank dedicated to “defending human dignity, expanding human potential, and building a freer and safer world.” It is a home for scholars and ideas focused on free enterprise, democracy, American global leadership, and entrepreneurial culture, and publishes a variety of content espousing these ideals. The AEI podcast, "Political Economy” hosted by James Pethokoukis, focuses on “some of the most pressing economic and public policy questions of our time — with a special emphasis on technology, innovation, and the future.” In this week’s podcast, Jim and I talked about why I started Rubicon, the risks and rewards of entrepreneurship, and how to reframe the conversation about waste and the environment. I hope you will give it a listen.
